On Monday January 25th, Massage Therapy students from the Dorsey Schools Madison Heights, MI campus held a Senior Spa Day event for the Madison Heights, MI Senior Center. Over 29 people attended and took advantage of various massage services such as Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, and Chair Massage. Each of these techniques are taught as part of the Massage Therapy curriculum at Dorsey Schools. The event was led by Mr. Fender and Ms. Finn, Massage Therapy instructors at Dorsey Schools, and allowed students an opportunity to gain experience, practice the skills they have been learning, and build stronger relationships within their local community.
