Dorsey Schools acquires Great Lakes EMS Academy and to offer EMT/Paramedic Training in West Michigan Area

Dorsey Schools, a trusted name in career training and education in Michigan since 1934 recently announced that they have acquired Great Lakes EMS Academy in Grand Rapids. As the longest standing career training school, Dorsey Schools offers career training programs to prepare students to pursue new careers in fields such as healthcare, nursing, culinary, beauty, skilled trades, and emergency medical services. Dorsey Schools already operates several Dorsey Emergency Medical Academy schools that offer EMT-Basic and Paramedic training here in Michigan. Currently, Dorsey Emergency Medical Academy offers classes in Madison Heights, Woodhaven, Bay City, and Jackson.

Founded in 1998, Great Lakes EMS Academy has been a leader in EMS training in West Michigan. Great Lakes EMS Academy is a proprietary school licensed and approved by the State of Michigan that offers training for future EMTs and Paramedics.
