CRRSAA Student Funding Allocation

All students in a school status of Active and Leave of Absence as of Spring A term, that have been determined eligible for the CRRSAA Grant, have been sent a Dorsey CRRSAA Grant Form to complete electronically. Students that have not completed a FAFSA, such as DACA or a cash paying students have been contacted separately; and will be awarded under the last tier of the CRRSAA Award Chart.

This process of identifying eligible students that are in a school status of Active and Leave of Absence will be repeated during the Spring B and Summer A terms and subsequent terms if there are any remaining funds; the students will need to apply for the funds every disbursement period; these additional students will also be sent the Dorsey CRRSAA Grant Form to complete.

The form provides information about the CRRSAA financial grant, and provides options for the student to select including assistance with tuition.   Students are requested to check applicable areas in which they need financial support for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the Coronavirus (including education expenses, course materials, technology, food, housing, healthcare and childcare).  We have also requested any updated contact information to be used to mail payments. The form requires the student’s signature and attestation that the information provided is correct, and that they understand the purpose for the CRRSAA  grant funds.

Once the completed form has been received, students are awarded a total based on the CRRSAA Award Chart Tier.  All students who are considered cash pay will be reviewed and awarded utilizing the 4th EFC tier in the CRRSAA Award Chart.  Students that withdraw or graduate from school will not receive payment(s) from the CRRSAA grant. We will continue this process until all funds have been fully disbursed.
