National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences

Dorsey School of Beauty located in Taylor, Michigan, a sister school of Dorsey College, is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences, Inc., (NACCAS). Continuing Occupational Educational Classes

Certain classes offered at Dorsey College campuses, such as American Heart Association classes and EMS Refresher classes are classified as Continuing Occupational Education classes by the Council on Occupational Education, Dorsey College’s institutional accreditor. As a result, Continuing Occupational Education classes are not included on the program list Dorsey College maintains with the Council on Occupational Education.


Dorsey Divisions

The Dorsey family of institutions includes Training Direct (with a location in Bridgeport, CT).  Training Direct is referred to as a “Dorsey Division” and does not hold institutional accreditation.
